HTML Source changed +Working on an upload server

Yesterday my provider was upgrading to ????? So I was not able to login, so I changed the HTML Source from some HTML-files on my page. The CD-R Info section is now only 124 KB, it was about 240 KB, so it takes half the time to load the page. I removed all the fonts and size stuff and some other trash. I installed the Verdana as default font, so it wasn't necessary to specify the font at each part of the table. I also changed the default size, this made the file lots smaller.

I'm also working on a server where you can upload files to, I will view them once a day and when the files are usefull I will place them on my own server,

Problems uploading files

The Webjump server had some problems, so the upload of my files went wrong. Due to this error there was no news available for over 2 hours. I'm sorry, but it was the fault of CD Mania.

Custom CD Menu 1.07 released

The final version of Custom (Easy) CD Menu 1.07 is out now. You can download it from the Easy CD Menu homepage. Custom (Easy) CD Menu is the easiest CD Menu available. It's kinda like the twilight menu, including images, sound (Twilight hasn't got this).

Windows 98 Trick (2)

I don't know what I was doing yesterday (I think I drunk too much with X-Mas), the trick only works with the Full Version ofcourse. With the Upgrade you have to enter the CD-Key when you have just entered Setup. Though it still should work for the Full Versions in all languages.

Windows 98 Trick

Having problems learning all the Windows 98 CD-Keys by heart? The full version and the upgrade have got different CD-Keys, every language has got his own CD-Key for the upgrade and the full version. Now there's a trick to bypass the CD-Key check. When Windows 98 asks for the CD-Key, close Windows 98 and restart in Safe Mode. Edit WIN98.REG, which you can download from the Cracks and Downloads page or right here, fill in your own data(You can enter any ProductID and ProductKey) and insert it into your Registry, Windows 98 won't ask for the CD-Key anymore. Place this file on a boot disk, so you will never lose it. I've tested it with the Dutch and Englisg Full Versions and Upgrades. It should work for every version.

Cheat Packs added

I've added a big cheat pack to the Downloads section. I know CD Mania usually doesn't provide any cheats, but this is a very nice cheat pack, It's contains codes for almost every game released in 1998 and for some other games too (Including Tombraider 3, Test Drive 5). You can also download the cheatpack directly here.

Only the prices of Audio Cd-r's are going up

The news we brought about a week ago wasn't correct. The prices of ordinary Cd-r's aren't going up, only the prices of AUDIO Cd-r's will be raised. Sorry for the mistake. My sources confirmed the rumors, now they seem to be false.

Twilight 30 complete crack out now

The Twilight 30 crack is finally out. You can download it from the Downloads page or directly here. You can still mail me Inflate by Mark Adler for Twilight 31, because the crackers of Twilight 30 will quit. If you can create patches which decrease the size of a file you can also mail me.

Fix for problems with the Twilight menu

When you install the Twilight menu to your HD, and you insert an old Twilight disc in your CD-Drive, you might get an "Error reading sector xxxxx drive x" message. Use one of the crack in the Cracks section to fix this problem. You can also use the cracked version of MENU95.EXE to make your copy from Twilight. When you use the crack you won't get the error message anymore.

Grand Theft Auto Patch

I know CD Mania usually don't provide any patches, but this one for Grand Theft Auto (I know it's kind an old game, but lots of people still like to play it.) will make lots of people with a 3DFX card happy, it's kind of a X-Mas present from CD Mania. This patch enables you to play GTA with 3DFX even when GTA shows the message "What 3DFX?" (With Voodoo 2, Voodoo Banshee and Voodoo Rush?) Voodoo Banshee problems?

If you've got any problems running games with your Voodoo Banshee, mail me. I have got a Voodoo Banshee card myself. I've got lots of games running which claimed to be unplayable on the Voodoo Banshee. So if you experience any problems with your Voodoo Banshee, mail me, I might have the solution.

Crazy Bytes 33 ZIP Password (3)

The problems which happen with WinZIP using the CB33 ZIP Password only seem to occur with older versions of WinZIP like 6.3. Version 7.0 of WinZIP should be able to handle the zip password. So here's the password again: dC�B`��‹"�F*%e��2g�)

Twilight cracking tutorial added

I've created a manual on how to crack MENU95.EXE from Twilight, so you can remove anything from the discs. You can view it at the Cracking Twilight section of the burning section. It's very easy. The only things you need is the Twilight which was released before the Twilight you want to crack. So if you want to crack Twilight 30 you need an uncracked version of MENU95.EXE from Twilight 29 and a cracked version of MENU95.EXE from Twilight 29.

Problems with ZIP Password CB33 (2)

Some people mailed me the ZIP Password of CB33 doesn't work under WinZIP. WinZIP should change some signs. You should try Windows Commander to UnZIP, this might work.

Crack for Twilight 30

I'm working on a crack for Twilight 30, so it can be put on a regular 650 MB/74 Minutes CD-R. I need Inflate 1.0.4 from Mark Adler, could anybody mail it to me. I also need someone who can create the crack. I can make a crack which changes bytes myself, but I cannot create a crack which decrease the size of a file. If there is anybody out who can, please mail me too. The crack is for Windows, it's easier to use as the DOS version, available on other sites, because it indicates problems that might happen. You can download the crack which removes the CD-Size check from the downloads or the cracks section or directly here. So you can remove anything from the discs.

Links removed

The links to the Twilight Zone and CD Freaks are removed, because they won't link me anymore after The Duke said he gave me no permission to continue his site. I asked The Duke to get his permission 3 times, but he didn't responsed, so I started my site. Now says The Duke he didn't gave me his permission. In the Nederlands they say: When you don't say anything, you agree. Because The Duke said he didn't gave me permission to continue his site Twilight Zone and CD Freaks won't link me anymore. I think this is rather stupid, I liked their sites, but when they won't link me (even when I've got a cool site), I won't link them anymore, so please don't visit them anymore, this will learn them to unlink a good site.

F***ed up provider

I'm verry sorry I wasn't able to update my page yesterday and the day before yesterday, but my provider was a bit f***ed up again. I couldn't login. I hope he will fix this very soon, or else I will go to another provider. This was the third time in about 2 months. I almost had it with this provider.

Big thanx to The Duke

I should have done this a few days ago, but I was facing all kinds of problems, which where much more important, like getting the homepage work perfectly. I had to upload lots of files and I had to check everything, but I wanna thank The Duke for his news archive and all kinds of other stuff from his old homepage. Thanx Duke. I hope you will make another great site soon ( or you might continue Rocking, Da Place To Be), it was the hottest site on the web. So thanx Duke for all the great work you've done and will do.

Tombraider 3 fix for Twilight 30

I've added the Tomraider 3 fix to the download and crack section, because some people had problems running Tombraider 3 from Twilight 30. When you need the crack of an other game you can always look at Crackstore or Megagames.

New URL of CD Mania

CD Mania got a new URL it's cdm.webjump.com. Now I've got 25 MB webspace for all kinds of things, so now I can upload more stuff to the server. The fly.to/cdmania URL rederects to the webjump server. So you should use the webjump server. I use the Geocities server as a backup. Just in case.......

File Upload Completed

All the files are now uploaded to the webjump server. So everything shall work fine. So if you experience any problems mail them to me. The Fifa 99 crack is also uploaded again because the last time the upload stopped at about 700 KB and it should be about 1 MB. It is available at the download and crack sections. I stopped with the covers section, because the covers take a lot of useless space, there are lots of other sites with covers, they are linked at the covers page.

CDRWin 3.6b added

OK. I know it was releases a time ago, but the downloads waren't available at the homepage anymore, since Duke stopped, so I added CDRWin to the download section again. You can download the Keygen at the crack section. I think it is still very usefull, so i placed it.

Easy CD Menu 1.07 Beta 4 released

A new Beta of Easy CD Menu 1.07 is released, Beta 4. This version unzips a lot faster because the programmer used a new DLL. You can download it here. Easy CD Menu is a program you can use to create your own menu on your Cd's. It's very easy to use, not as difficult as CofCD.

How to copy Fifa 99

There were lots of Fifa 99 cracks that don't work. (i.e. problems with the speech) there's a new crack available over here. Replace the exe on the original cd with this one and it will work fine.

Site Updated

The CD Mania site is updated with some new things (Passwords, Copy FAQ, Copy Full cd's and the links are updated. A list with CD-R's is added, this list contains info on most of the CD-R brands. The rest will follow very soon.

CD-R Prices in Holland are going at January 1, 1999

The prices of the CD-R's are going up at January 1, 1999. The prices will increase with 65 cents a disc. So buy a few 100's of them before January 1, 1999. A good place to buy them is MicroDirect. The Arita Gold-Blue cost 225 guilders for 100 pieces including boxes.

Twilight 30 crack

The first Twilight 30 crack is released, with this crack you can remove anything from the various directory on Disc 2. Don't remove anything, just a few things, because a lot of people like the Various section. Download it here.

Problems with Twilight 30

There seems to be a problem with some Twilight 30 Disc 1. Some people mailed me, telling me they can't copy Twilight 30 Disc 1. The reading of the disc fails at 88 %. You can't also play several games. This problem occurs with some Twilights (The fake one's ?), my copy works fine allthough. There also seems to be a virus on Tombraider 3. I don't know which one, but I'm working on it right now. So when you install Tombraider 3 test it with Antiviral Toolkit Pro. You can download the Keygen here.

To put upto 680 MB on 74 Minutes CD-R and 730 MB on 80 Minutes Cd-R, make an image with your favorite program like Adaptec Easy CD Creator. Use Padus DiscJuggler v 1.01.199-FU and select CD Image to CD Recorder. Under the Advanced Tab select Audio and 2352, 2368 or 2448. It works perfect.
