Questions answered in this FAQ:
Why can't I copy Twilight ?
As you might have noticed, the Twilight cd's contain more data then the usual 650 MB. You
could of course just remove a couple of files and then burn the cd, but that's not a
solution, because everytime you start the Twilight menu, the menu checks if all the data
is on the cd and if you removed some, the menu won't start... You have to do it at another
way...
Twilight 1 up to 14 are less then 650 MB and therefore can be copied with all Cd Recording software...
Twilight 15 up to 20 are around 656 MB cd's and can be copied in three ways:
- Use overburning (More on that later)
- Use larger Cd-R's
Twilight 21 up to 24 are around 658 MB and can be copied in three ways:
- Use overburning (More on that later)
- Use larger Cd-R's
- Use a crack (More on that later)
Twilight 25 till 27 are around 663 MB and can be copied in three ways:
- Use overburning (More on that later)
- Use larger Cd-R's
- Use a crack (More on that later)
Twilight 28 and up are around 700 MB and can be copied in two ways:
- Use larger Cd-R's (700 MB)
- Use a crack (More on that later)
What does the Twilight crack ?
The Twilight crack removes the build in security that checks the amount of data that is on
the Cd-R. Once that security is removed you can freely remove files from the various
section. The Twilight crack also has a 2nd purpose. It also removes a game from the
GAMES.00x files on the latest Twilight cd's. For more info on how about to use the crack,
I refer to the TXT files included when you download them...
Where can I find the Twilight cracks ?
Just right here where you are now... Just go to the Cracks or Download section and download them. We're always the #1, so if
there is a new release of Twilight and you're waiting for the crack, check back often!
What is overburning ?
Overburning is a way to increase the space on a Cd-R by writing a smaller TOC. The TOC is
the lead-in of a Cd and tells the CD-Rom where the data is located. By decreasing the size
of the TOC, you increase the space available of the Cd-R.
Which programs support overburning ?
The most popular program is CDRWIN (Available on the Downloads
page, but to name a few others: CeQuadrat's
WinOnCdToGo and Nero... WinOnCdToGo is less effective and therefore I advise you use
CDRWIN.
How works CDRWIN ?
Of course you can also copy 'on the fly' if you got a hell
of a machine. Instead of 'COPY TO IMAGE FILE' you choose 'COPY DIRECTLY TO RECORDER'...
This is an alternative method which also works for some people...
The following method is slightly different then the method described before. U need
Adaptec Easy CD Pro 2.11c and CDRWin3.5c for this.
What do u need to do:
If you want even more info on CDRWIN, you can visit CD-Freaks and check their CDRWin Manual...
Where can I get the right recording software ?
As noted before, you can download CDRWIN in the Downloads
section, but if you need any other Cd Recording Software you should visit The CDR Base... They can satisfy all your
needs...
What about other Cd's ?
Some other cd's like Commando's, Heart of Darkness and others are having securities as
well. It is possible to copy the Cd-R 100% succesfull, but it's a lot easier to use a
crack which can be obtained at the Cracks section...
What writers support overburning very good ?
Here's a list of writers which are or are not able to write Twilight 25 and futher
correctly. I don't have all these writers of course and I rely on what people tell me. It
is said that if you use 700 MB Cd's instead of 656 MB Cd's and overburning, all writers
can burn Twilight. But I cannot confirm that...

How to copy cd's and play games or surf at the
same time
When you've got a IDE CD-ROM-Player and a CD-Recorder, connect the CD-ROM-Player to your
soundboard, instead of to your mainboard. Now you can copy cd's directly from your
CD-ROM-Player to your CD-Recorder, without using your HD. Use a program like Padus
DiscJuggler or CDRWin to copy your CD's. While your are copying your CD's you can play
games or surf. NOTES!! Be sure your CD-ROM-Player is faster than your CD-Recorder. Don't
try to acces these two CD-drives while the task is in progress or the disc creation will
fail.
